Logos!
Designing a logo a not a simple process. It takes several steps to get to the end product. Anyone can design a logo, but for a logo to be effective, it must past 3 important challenges.
Size, Color, & Message.

Size
Size matters! Just because a logo looks good at 10 feet by 100 feet does not mean it will look good at 1 inch by 1 inch. The best logos are the ones that are legible even smaller than a dime. We can design a logo that can shrink.

Color
Your logo will be published in many different ways. On a bus, on a t-shirt, in a magazine, on a letterhead or on the internet. Your logo should stand up to the changes it will undergo. Your message should not be lost if your logo is printed in black and white or in different colors.

Message
It is hard to fit a 100 words into one second, but that is what we try to do. We are over run with advertising all day. Your logo should stand out from the crowd and give your potential client a lot of information in a short amount of time.

Logo Design Process

We use a five-step process for designing a small business's logo.
In this detailed process, We present you with multiple design options at every step.

You'll also get to play an active role in the design process, incorporating your industry expertise and business knowledge, along with your preferences for colors, symbols and typefaces, into your final design.

The result? A logo that's visible, credible and memorable and uniquely yours.

Getting Started

Step One

Development of a universal, timeless symbol
or a decorative element.

The symbol in the logo is the best place to tell the story of what makes your business or service unique. Since it plays such a vital role, it is the first element of the logo to be developed.

This first step is done in black and white, and usually uses a single font to indicate placement of your business name.

Thumbnails or rough idea are created as a starting point.

Step Two

To specify a font for the logo, we consider two major aspects of the font: the character, style and message given by the font itself, and the legibility of the font at small sizes (ex: business card). we can also modify or change an existing font to create a unique font for your brand in this phase.

Step Three

Color specification for the logo depends on many criteria: color psychology, color theory, the emotions associated with colors, the contrast between colors, and the available printing budget.

Step Four

Step four begins to be refined. This can mean:

  • Working with the details of the symbol to create the perfect image
  • Tightening the overall composition of the logo
  • Exploring more fonts or adjusting the font and spacing between words and letters
  • Changing the balance of the colors
  • Creating a unified look by matching the font and symbol's characteristics

Step Five

The logo continues to be refined until it is "just right." The changes in this round are usually very subtle, and I will go over the differences beten the options with you.

Final

At this point, you are provided with a large version of the logo to inspect and to sign off on, indicating that the logo design is approved.

We deliver the logo in several color types (as applicable), including black and white, greyscale, and color versions. Each of these color types is converted into at least 5 different file formats, which enables you to use the logo in a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, on the web, and for printing materials professionally.

All of the final files are then collected are made available for either download, email, for mail via cd.
